Holistic online training to become a certified child & youth competence coach in 12 modules

The training courses forKinderKompetenceCoach or to theKinder&JyouthKompetenceCoach takes place as part of online training days in course format (plus 1:1 meetings with the Ki&JuKoCoach). You will also have access to a wide range of materials on the KompetenzCoach training learning platform - for in-depth self-study and for use in your future coaching work.

Course participants can also benefit from 12 individual coaching sessions as part of the course supervision as well as additional online practice meetings for each module, which are also included in the course fees.

You can train to become aKinderKompetenceCoach and to theKinder&JyouthKompetenceCoachAlso as 1:1 training outside a fixed course frameworkand arrange all module dates, consolidation periods and supervision/intensive training sessions individually (plus a fee of EUR 1,250 in addition to the respective course fee).

The training offers an additional qualification for working with young people in many professional fields and, after completion, also enables career changers to work as a coach for children (&young people) in their own practice.

In addition to the certificate forKinderKompetenceCoach or to theKinder&JyouthKompetenceCAfter the event, participants will also receive course leader certificates for the seminars "Creative resilience training for children" and "Staying cool in exam situations".

Training to become a Children's Competence Coach / Children & Youth Competence Coach

As part of the training to become a Children's Competence Coach or Children & Youth Competence Coach, you will receive intensive and practical continuing education, further training to become a coach for children (and young people). Theoretical principles on the development of children and young people and the coaching content and techniques taught are combined with real-life knowledge, practical experience and numerous practical examples.

Even if you already have contact with young people and their parents, be it in the educational or knowledge transfer field or in care situations, you can benefit greatly from the content and methods of this coaching training, as these are often not taught in traditional training or preparation for encounters with children and young people - and this, although they are fundamental for constructive everyday interaction with children and their parents and are not only crucial for success in challenging situations, but also for stabilizing your own physical, emotional and mental well-being and personal resilience.

 

The training content

The training modules include the following content:

• Module 2: Relaxation techniques for children (& young people)
• Module 3: Stress management techniques/strengthening resilience
• Module 4: Strengthening self-esteem
• Module 5: Developing the ability to deal with conflict
• Module 6: Promoting joie de vivre
• Module 7: Mental training/solution-oriented thinking strategies
• Module 8: (Self-)motivation techniques & realization of goals
• Module 9: Communication training
• Module 10: Parental support
• Module 1 1: Paths to self-employment as a child competence coach (Kinder&JugendKompetenzCoach)/self-marketing
• Module 1 2: Structure, design and presentation of children's coaching sessions / children/youth (parent) seminar units

Key components are the enjoyment of learning and applying the module content, as well as practical relevance and sharing experiences. Regular training sessions under supervision and in independent practice units create confidence in the implementation of what has been learned. The learning process is supported by accompanying course documentation with materials for in-depth self-study, self-reflection and for use in coaching practice with children (and young people).

What is special about these continuing education, further trainingKinderKompetenceCoach /Kinder&JyouthKompetenceCoach is a holistic approach to coaching in addition to the variety of methods and techniques from very different areas. It is not just about passing on coaching tools and child(&youth)-appropriate coaching methods. A central aspect is also the deepening of the personal ability to empathize with the world and perspective of young people and to convey a zest for life and fun in learning and mastering challenges.

The training courses are supplemented byKinderKompetenceCoach /Kinder&JyouthKompetenceCoach by providing coaching tools for parents to support their children.

In total, theKinderKompetenceCoach training 260 teaching units, whichKinder&JyouthKompetenceCoach training 308 teaching units.

Included in the course fee:

• Online course days with the participants of the respective training cycle
• Access to a variety of course materials on our CompetenceCoach learning platform (print media, audio material, learning videos, presentations) for in-depth self-study and for use in future child (&junior) coaching practice
• 90-minute online practice sessions to try out and practise the coaching techniques for each of the 12 modules in greater depth - dates by arrangement with the course participants
• 30-minute individual coaching/intensive training for each module - Individual appointments by arrangement
• Individual support with the final thesis
• 90-minute final feedback meeting
• On request, case support in the 1st quarter after completion of continuing education, further training
• Offer: Participation in online exchange meetings with already trained child (& youth) competence coaches

The Zoom times for the module weekends are: Saturdays: 8.30 am - 1.00 pm

Sundays: 8.30 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.

These are the course times for continuing education, further training to become a KinderKompetenzCoach. When training to become a Children & Youth Competence Coach in course format, 6 teaching units are added to each module weekend, which can be arranged flexibly and individually.

If you miss 1 module due to vacation or vacation periods, you can make up for this individually by arrangement or with the follow-up course.

 

Alternative to training in course format - Flexible training times:

You can train to become aKinderKompetenceCoach and to theKinder&JyouthKompetenceCoach can also be attended independently of the course times as an individual with individual appointments. In this case, an extra fee of 1,250 euros will be charged in addition to the course fee.

Fields of activity

After completing the training, you can work as a child coach / child and youth coach in your own practice.

You can also benefit from the training for yourself personally in dealing with children and young people in your environment (e.g. parents, grandparents, foster parents) or integrate it into your existing professional activity in dealing with children (educator, teacher, trainee teacher, sports coach, doctor, medical staff who work with children, speech therapist, social pedagogue, pediatrician, music teacher, school companion, family childcare staff, etc.).)

The training also enables you to offer specific content in educational institutions or project work in kindergartens, schools or clubs.

Alternative: 

KinderKompetenceCoach: Payment in three installments: 1.700,- Euro before the course starts and two installments of 1.675,- Euro during the course

Kinder&JyouthKompetenceCoach: Payment in four installments: 1.850,- Euro before the course starts and three installments of 1.425,- Euro during the course.

Education

Course fees - training as part of a complete 1:1 training program (INDIVIDUAL TRAINING in German or English):

respective course fee + 1.250,- Euro(individual installment agreement possible)

 

Offer 1 :

You can use the course formatup to 2 persons additionally for 999,- Euro per personregister for continuing education, further training.

Offer 2:

There is the possibility of individual training,up to 5 persons additionally for 1.250,- Euro eachand register as aSmall, cohesive team outside of a fixed course timeframe to be trained at individual appointment times.
