Our training courses have a modular structure and usually take place at weekends. This has the advantage for you that you can easily pursue your professional activities and private commitments during your continuing education, further training.

Accessibility
Our academy is located right next to the train station in Reiden (11 minutes by train from Olten or 5 minutes from Zofingen) and is easily accessible - both by public transport and by car. Our students have free parking in front of the building.

Art therapy course PTM© - Process-oriented therapeutic method
Specialization in design and painting therapy
The Art Therapy PTM© course culminates in the Art Therapy Certificate. The art therapy certificate is a commitment by the working world (OdA ARTECURA) and the training world (preparatory courses) to a common quality standard. After completing the training, graduates receive a certificate of art therapy that is supported, endorsed and signed by both parties. This is the case even if the graduate does not have a relevant tertiary qualification or the GVB (equivalence procedure). Registration with the EMR, ASCA and SNE can then take place.
You can rest assured that this training goes far beyond the teaching of technical methodology and social skills. Let our passion for art therapy inspire you.

Diploma course in color therapy
As a recognized method of complementary medicine, colour therapy makes use of the effects of colour and light and their profound influence on the human body, mind and soul. Combined with the flower essences according to Dr. Bach, the frequencies of color and light can be used in a differentiated and targeted manner, resulting in a highly effective therapy concept.
Participants complete this course with a diploma and are then able to pursue a practical activity as a color therapist. After additionally completing the Medical Basics certificate course, registration with the EMR and ASCA is also possible (health insurance recognition).

Certificate course in medical basics
The "Medical Basics" course promotes an understanding of healthy and pathological processes in the human body. This enables therapists to better understand the medical history of their clients and to hold specialist discussions with medical and psychiatric professionals and understand their terminology in different medical disciplines. This course is aimed at students of all EMR-recognized therapy methods and all other interested parties with an interest in human anatomy, physiology and psychology.
Successful graduates receive the Certificate in Medical Fundamentals (EMR-recognized) upon graduation.

This continuing education, further training works on the pulse of practice and deepens specialist knowledge in therapy, education and counseling and has a modular structure. This future-oriented continuing education, further training is aimed at all professional groups in education, counseling and therapy who wish to use means and methods from the visual arts in their work.
Successful graduates earn the CAS PTM© - Process-oriented Therapeutic Method worth 15 ECTS credits.

In this CAS course, participants deal with the question of how psychosocial and cultural influences affect personality development. Participants develop a differentiated sensitivity to perception in practical lessons. Creative means and methods from the visual arts are applied, which can be used after completing the continuing education, further training in everyday professional life, but also to develop their own resources.
Successful graduates earn the CAS - Resource Development with Art-oriented Methods, worth 15 ECTS credits.

The knowledge of suitable methods of group leadership, as well as the opportunities and challenges involved in their implementation, creates a universally applicable tool for leading group supervision and accompanying processes of all kinds.
The use of art-oriented means and methods has become firmly established and is regarded as an efficient approach that goes beyond traditional art therapy and is used across all sectors and internationally.
