We have been training respiratory therapists for over 35 years. This exciting educational path leads either to a method diploma with health insurance recognition or to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) for a federal diploma in complementary therapy.

Body and breathing therapy LIKA, diploma course and industry certificate

Respiratory therapy has been a federally recognized profession since 2015 and has thus gained an established place in the healthcare sector. Those who go all the way to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) can apply to the federal government for contributions of up to CHF 10,500 towards training costs.

The training is aimed at all people:

- who are intensively involved in breathing work, health promotion and personal development
want to deal with
- who work with movement in a medical, therapeutic, nursing, educational or artistic capacity,
Touch, body, voice and breath work and effective tools for support
want to get to know clients
- who would like to work in complementary therapy or who are already working in this field and
want to expand
- who would like to open up a new professional field of activity

Structure
The training is structured in 2 stages with 3 modules. The basic training consists of the modules:

Breathwork and eutony
Psychodynamics of the meridians and the breath

You will acquire therapeutic competence in the 3rd module with the following content: psychotherapeutic concepts, clinical pictures, communication, psychosomatics, sensorimotor skills, etc.

An internship is integrated and is accompanied by mentors. The entry into the profession with client-centered work is also accompanied.

Degree: Industry certificate in the field of complementary therapy (respiratory therapy method). Swiss Federal Diploma in Respiratory Therapy Method possible afterwards.

Grief counseling cycle

Therapists, nurses and all those working in a counseling capacity regularly come up against the topic of grief in their work and sometimes reach their limits. Of course, the same applies to all people in personal situations. Grief need not only concern death, we experience loss in many different ways. The aim of the seminar series is to remove the taboos from the subject in society and to support people in learning how to deal with loss and grief, with themselves and their environment. The cycle can be booked as a whole to become a certified bereavement counselor or as a single day topic.

The training is organized as a cycle and it is therefore possible to start at any time. We will be happy to advise you and look forward to hearing from you.
