ARCOS was1999 as the first school in German-speaking SwitzerlandfromCIDESCO(Comitè International d' Esthetique et de Cosmètologie) and is one of around 300 schools worldwide that have been recognized. CIDESCO is the largest international professional association in cosmetics with sections in over 30 countries.

ARCOS has beenmore than 20 yearsunder the same management. Experience and continuity that pays off. Since 2002yearlysuccessfully completed the internationally recognized CIDESCO examinations. Recognized CIDESCO beauticians have a particular advantage when looking for a job. The CIDESCO standard is the same worldwide and confirms the excellent training of a beautician. All courses are ISO 29990 and eduQua certified. ARCOS belongs to theSVKAB section of the Swiss Association of Technical Collegesfor Cosmetics (SFK) and thus fulfills further basic requirements that give graduates aGuarantee serious and well-founded training.

We work with theleading brand productsMila d'Opiz, Maria Galland, Comfort Zone, Stagecolor from Rosselet. You will receive individual training from each company, learn about their corporate philosophy and receive support from professionals in opening your own beauty salon.

Basic training to become a qualified beautician (ARCOS diploma)

Training for the internationally recognized CIDESCO diploma (International beauty therapist)

• Day school, duration: 1 year (full-time training)
  
  
• CIDESCO postgraduate diploma for beauticians, duration: 9 days

Do you already have a Federal VET Diploma in your current profession?

• Then you mustno longer complete a Federal VET Diploma for beauticiansbut canafter successfully completing the CIDESCO diploma and a 2-week preliminary courseat the SFK (Swiss Professional Association)Start DIRECTLY with the FPE course to become a beautician, specialist certificate (FA), specializing in medical cosmetics.

  Those who successfully pass this Federal Professional Examination (FPE) are awarded theFederal Certificate of Competence (FA).This coveted title attests to sound practical knowledge and theoretical skills and enjoys an excellent reputation in the business world. Your career prospects will be considerably broadened and improved.
