Portrait ZOE SCHOOL FOR DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY

The course starts in February and lasts 8 semesters

During the 8 semesters (4 years), you will complete all the prescribed contact hours and take all 7 module examinations required for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE). You will receive all 7 module certificates and the Certificate of Completion in Art Therapy Movement and Dance Therapy. This gives you access to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Art Therapy / Movement and Dance Therapy.

Learning takes place at tertiary level (MasterlevelI) in a movement-based and experiential way (see download ADTA_Movement based experiental learning.pdf). We convey the dance therapy learning content in such a way that you can understand all the specialist literature and thus become part of the international dance therapy community.

After registering for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), you can reclaim part of your training costs from the federal government (subject funding).

If you are a psychologist, psychotherapist, physiotherapist, doctor, nurse or teacher, we can give you credit for the course content you have already acquired in your original professional training.

With us you can

• Complete the entire course with the module certificates for all modules (as a prerequisite for the AFPE)
• attend individual modules and take the module exam
• attend individual courses or subject-specific continuing education, further training independent of the AFPE with a continuing education certificate

We can accommodate you if you:

• have an upper-secondary level qualification or a school-leaving certificate*
• have a degree in a relevant profession (art, education, health) at continuing education and training / tertiary level A/B
