With several years of practical experience and the acquisition of vocational and general knowledge from basic training, it is possible to subsequently acquire the Federal VET Diploma in Business Maintenance.
AP SCHULUNGEN GmbH offers a 2-year training course with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to successfully pass the qualification procedure.
Specialist knowledge
The teaching material is a combination of the proven, traditional work "Fachmann Betriebsunterhalt, Band 1-4" from FO Education Verlag and the new digital and interactive learning platform. It covers the following areas of competence for the focus on housekeeping:
- Occupational safety / work organization / ecology
- Cleaning technology
- Maintenance and inspection work / structural maintenance
- Green spaces
- Collaboration with employees and customers
General education (ABU)
- Everyday law and insurance
- State and economy
- Evaluation procedure
- Advanced thesis (VA)
Authorization
Proof of German language level (B1)
At least 5 years of general professional experience at the time of the final examination, including at least 2 years of professional experience as a janitor. The vocational training office of the canton of residence is responsible for admission.

Specialist knowledge: CHF 13'400.- incl. learning materials
General education: CHF 1'300.- incl. teaching materials
Inter-company course (optional): approx. CHF 12,220.- with the exception of the chainsaw and brush cutter course → approx. CHF 920.- is compulsory.
Examination fees (QV)
Examination fees vary from canton to canton → CHF 2000 to 3000 depending on the canton. Clarification required.
