The bilingual Fribourg School of Business (HSW-FR) with around 800 students - at Bachelor's, Master's and continuing education, further training level - is successfully geared towards the needs of national and international practice. Well-structured classes ensure that teaching can be interactive, which both students and lecturers find highly enriching. Centrally located in the Bern/Neuchâtel-Lausanne triangle close to the railroad station, the HSW-FR is ideally accessible.

Training and continuing education, further training

HSW Fribourg offers continuing education programs in German and/or French for managers in companies and public administration. These programmes are either general or allow participants to specialize in a specific area.

AACSB accredited

HSW Freiburg has held the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) award since 2024. AACSB is the world's leading organization for the accreditation of business schools and confirms excellent quality in research and teaching.

Offer

Our innovative continuing education programs meet the current and future needs of companies and society and support lifelong learning in the context of professional life. HSW Fribourg offers multilingual continuing education programs for managers in companies and public administration. These programmes are either general or allow participants to specialize in a particular field. The courses are generally organized in collaboration with other Universities or professional associations recognized in Switzerland. The lecturers have extensive professional experience and are trained in adult education. On average, the Universities of Applied Sciences in Fribourg graduates around 150 participants in the certificate courses and certifies around 1,000 short training days per year.
