The Department of Engineering and Information Technology (TI) stands for education and research at the cutting edge of industrial practice. At the Biel and Burgdorf sites, coordinated services are provided in the areas of education, continuing education, further training, applied research and development and the transfer of technological knowledge. Three demands are at the heart of our work: high quality in order to be able to offer the economy qualified engineers and competitive services. Telecommunications seminar

The telecommunications seminar lasts 3 days and offers an introduction, basics and overview in the field of telecommunications. It is structured in such a way that even participants without engineering training can follow along. Nevertheless, it goes deep enough into the technical aspects to ensure that participants understand the essential relationships in telecommunications and see what lies behind the many buzzwords. The seminar can be ideally supplemented with the optional practical day, during which practical work is carried out in the laboratory with telecommunications equipment and measuring devices.

The telecommunications seminar is offered three times a year, in March, June and November.
