About us

KUNSTSTOFF.swiss is the association of the Swiss plastics industry and represents the interests of the Swiss plastics sector, whose almost 800 companies and 34,000 employees generate an annual turnover of around CHF 15.4 billion.

The mission of KUNSTSTOFF.swiss is to strengthen the industry in its sustainable development and to represent its interests to the public, politicians, authorities and the media. The association promotes the circular economy and supports measures to prevent plastic entering the environment.

Training & continuing education, further training

KUNSTSTOFF.swiss has been supporting training, member and partner companies for decades in recruiting young talent and thus securing the supply of skilled workers. As an organization of the working world (OdA) appointed by the federal government for the two apprenticeship professions of plastics technologist Federal VET Diploma and plastics technician Federal VET Certificate, we work closely with the training companies to ensure optimal framework conditions and the high quality of initial and continuing education, further training.
