Yes, if you do not pass the final examination to become an automotive business administrator (AFPE), formerly known as an automotive business administrator (HPF), at the first attempt, you have the option of repeating the examination twice more. However, you do not repeat the entire final examination, but only the parts of the examination that you did not pass, i.e. where you achieved a grade of 3.9 or worse.
With the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Automotive Business Management, or newly renamed as Business Management in the Automotive Industry, you will be a manager in the automotive industry. You are the managing director, owner or manager of a part of the company and are responsible for spare parts, sales, ordering, customer service, workshops, vehicle sales, finance or administration. Automotive salespeople conduct consulting and sales talks with potential customers and existing customers, provide information about new products and have excellent negotiating skills. Business administrators in the automotive industry are familiar with insurance, traffic, legal and environmental issues relating to their area of responsibility and maintain contact with importers, suppliers and other external partners. As the contact person and person responsible for training, they lead and support their employees on an ongoing basis. Automotive salespeople are responsible for cost estimates and price calculations, they plan and implement marketing strategies, draw up business plans and financial management strategies.
To be admitted to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Business Administration in the Automotive Industry, you must have completed and passed the following modules:
