To be admitted to the MAS in Cardiovascular Perfusion, participants must have a degree in nursing CHE or an equivalent accredited qualification, have completed training in anaesthesia or intensive care or comparable training, be able to read and understand English texts and have the opportunity to complete an internship in the field of cardiovascular perfusion. All suitable prospective students take part in an admissions interview.

The Master of Advanced Studies MAS in Cardiovascular Perfusion comprises nine modules, two practice modules and three MAS modules. The nine modules are

• Health Care Economy

After successfully completing the continuing education, further training, graduates are awarded the Master of Advanced Studies Kalaidos UAS in Cardiovascular Perfusion with Certificate EBCP (European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion).

Yes, the MAS in Cardiovascular Perfusion is taught exclusively in English. All course materials are also translated into English.

The complete Master's program comprises 90 ECTS and 14 modules. For each module, participants must expect four to five days of attendance time, each comprising eight lessons. In addition, there is of course self-study, preparation and follow-up time, exam preparation and the Master's thesis.

The MAS in Cardiovascular Perfusion takes a total of three years to complete, with each module lasting around two months.
