The Financial Advisor training program has been in existence since 2003. It is sponsored and organized by the IAF (Financial Sector Interest Group), which also administers the Federal Professional Examination for financial planners. The degree is recognized by FINMA (Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority) as a professional qualification for insurance brokers and entitles the holder to obtain a fund sales license.
