The distance learning course in art history is open to anyone who has the time and desire to familiarize themselves with this exciting subject area, regardless of degree or professional experience.

You will not receive an internationally recognized university degree such as a Bachelor's degree, but a certificate for your participation. The degree does not qualify you for a profession.

The continuing education, further training in art history is divided into a total of 36 learning booklets, which you work on independently as you progress. With around five hours of work per week, the art history course takes nine months to complete. However, you are free to complete the course in a shorter time or take up to three years to complete it. The final homework assignment must be submitted no later than three years after the start of the course in order to receive a certificate of completion.

The distance learning course in art history is exclusively self-study without attendance. You work on the study books and homework, which you send to your lecturer for correction. The time allocation is individual, so that you only study when you are able to.

You can study Art History as a Bachelor's degree course at the universities of Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva, Lausanne, Fribourg andNeuchâtelstudy. There is also the option of a distance learning course from Studienwelt Laudius or as a course from many other providers.

The lecturer or distance learning teacher of the distance learning course in art history is an experienced and highly trained expert in this field, who usually has a university degree in the subject area being taught. For example, the distance learning teacher who supervised this course at the beginning of 2017 studied sociology, philosophy, music and art and literature studies, was a lecturer in art and design history at the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover (Germany) and has published numerous works and essays. You can therefore be sure that you will have a lecturer at your side who has excellent specialist training and many years of professional experience.
