Graduates who pass all five required certificate courses and the final thesis in integrated risk management are awarded the Master of Advanced Studies ZFH in Integrated Risk Management with 60 ETCS. Alternatively, a Diploma of Advanced Studies can also be obtained with three certificate courses.

The MAS in Integrated Risk Management is aimed at managers and executives in IT, security, environmental, risk or quality management who already have several years of relevant professional experience.

The continuing education master's in Integrated Risk Management consists of a total of five Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) courses on the following topics: Integrated Risk Management; Emergency and Crisis Management; Risk Analysis and Risk Assessment; Risk and Crisis Communication; Risk Management and Law.

Each of the five certificate courses lasts six months. In addition, the Master's thesis takes the same amount of time, meaning that the entire Master's course in Integrated Risk Management is spread over three years.

A university degree (UAS, university, FIT HW, HTL) is recommended, but not mandatory for the MAS in Integrated Risk Management. The main task of the MAS Integrated Risk Management is to impart practical knowledge in the understanding of complex risk management and the development of practical solutions. To this end, students acquire extensive know-how in the areas of best practice in risk management, integrated risk management approach, consideration of interfaces in risk management (communication, legal compliance and law, standards, risk analysis, etc.).
