A CHE systems technology technician - today a CHE systems technician - performs the following activities:
- Developing technical solutions based on customer needs and technical requirements

Systems Engineering degree course - what options are there?
The following options are available for the Systems Engineering degree program:
- College of Higher Education to become a qualified systems engineer CHE
- University of Applied Sciences Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering
- Subject-specific CAS, DAS or MAS at Colleges of Higher Education and Universities of Applied Sciences
Who is admitted to the Systems Engineering CHE degree program?
Anyone with a relevant Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) will be admitted to the Systems Engineering CHE course. Persons with another Federal VET Diploma, a vocational, technical or Baccalaureate certificate, a technical secondary school certificate or an equivalent qualification can also be admitted on the basis of a dossier.
The duration of training may be extended for persons without a relevant Federal VET Diploma.
The schools will inform you about the details.
During the training, the trainee should be employed at least 50% in the training area.
What does it take to become a systems technician CHE?
As a systems technician CHE, you will have the following personal skills:

Where does a systems engineering technician work?
Systems engineering technicians work in research and development laboratories, in production and workshops or in the office, depending on the task. They work in interdisciplinary teams with automation technicians, electronics technicians, IT technicians, polymechanics and process and production managers. You will maintain contact with customers and suppliers.
