In order to be admitted to the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (AFPE) as an auditor with a federal diploma, the following is required:

• University degree (University of Applied Sciences or University), Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE), Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) or equivalent qualification

and

• Industry qualification based on the requirements defined by the responsible body or equivalent qualification

and

• At least 4 years of professional experience with at least 4,800 working hours

and

• no entry in the central criminal record that could raise doubts about the candidate's integrity

This continuing education, further training to become a Certified Public Accountant is a Federal Advanced Professional Examination (AFPE) that builds on a Federal Professional Examination, a related Advanced Professional Examination, a University of Applied Sciences or a University degree.

• Interpretation and evaluation of internal and external analyses
• Process audits to assess the internal control of the companies
• Samples, tests and inspections
• External confirmations

The continuing education, further training to become a certified public accountant is designed to take four years and requires the prerequisite modules "Statistics", "Economics", "Quantitative Methods" and "Tax & Legal". The basic training consists of three modules: Audit, Tax & Legal and Accounting & Finance (Corporate Finance, Management & Financial Accounting / Financial Reporting).
