School and care assistance

School, class and support assistants are very valuable in our school system and it is hard to imagine our school system without them. They relieve teachers during lessons when dealing with heterogeneous classes. They also look after the children during lunchtimes and off-peak times. Professional foundations, skills and self-reflection are very important in both settings. My continuing education, further training is tailored precisely to these skills and gives participants the necessary tools to interact with teachers, children and young people in a mindful and professional manner.

The practical lessons are varied and include numerous case studies, group work and playful learning. We also cover topics such as new authority according to Haim Omer, resilience, closeness and distance, non-violent communication according to M. Rosenberg as well as learning and learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD and much more.

Non-violent communication

Everyone longs for openness, mutual appreciation and compassion in their environment. Everyone also has boundaries and wants these to be recognized and respected. Everyone wants recognition. Judgements, criticism, blame, demands and comparisons can block access to each other or to oneself, which prevents empathetic relationships. The result is distress, frustration, powerlessness and even mental and physical illness, addiction and verbal or physical violence. Non-violent communication" shows a way in which we can remain respectfully connected, even in difficult or sensitive situations and conflicts.

In a presentation, an introductory course or continuing education, further training for parents, schools or institutions, I will show you the way to non-violent communication and a sustainable basic attitude for the whole school, institution or family.

New authority

Power is built up through fear and blind obedience. This results in a mutual lack of understanding or even a breakdown in the relationship. As soon as distance arises and educational authority is shaken, the risk of violence increases. We humans are blocked and inhibited in our freedom - children/students are impaired in their learning and life. This is precisely where the concept of the "new authority" comes in. Teachers and parents learn to find a way to live or regain their authority with the new authority by means of presence and "non-violent resistance". The key questions here are not "Who has more power?" or "Who wins?", but rather strengthening and rebuilding the relationship. Because the new authority is based on presence and closeness.

In a coaching session, a presentation, an introductory course or an in-depth course for parents, schools or institutions, I will show you the concept of the New Authority, which enables security and a new basic attitude in your school, class, institution or family and promotes a sense of unity even in difficult situations.

Die Schul- und Betreuungsassistenzen sind im heutigen Schulsystem nicht mehr wegzudenken. Während der Unterrichtszeit entlasten sie die Lehrkräfte im Umgang mit heterogenen Klassen. Über den Mittag und am Nachmittag betreuen sie die Kinder in der unterrichtsfreien Zeit.
In beiden Rollen sind fachliche Grundlagen, Handlungsstrategien und Selbstreflexion wichtig.

Der Kurs „Neue Autorität“ war für mich sehr bereichernd und praxisnah. Ich habe viele konkrete Strategien gelernt, die mir im Umgang mit Kindern mehr Sicherheit und Klarheit geben. Besonders wertvoll fand ich den Austausch und die Haltung der gewaltfreien, präsenten Autorität. Insgesamt fühle ich mich gestärkt und kann das Gelernte gut im Alltag umsetzen.
