About us

Holzbau Schweiz is the employers' and industry association for timber construction companies in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. As the leading service and competence center for Swiss timber construction companies, the association represents the industry interests of its members vis-à-vis the state, the economy, educational institutions and the public. In addition, Holzbau Schweiz shapes the education system and the career plan in the industry with the promotion of young talent, teaching materials as well as training and continuing education, further training. In this way, the association is consistently committed to promoting the profession.

Training & continuing education, further training

Holzbau Schweiz is responsible for basic and higher vocational training in timber construction, ensuring its quality and topicality. We support the next generation financially, from apprenticeships to management training. This includes recognized qualifications such as timber construction foreman, foreman and master craftsman. In this way, we offer reliable development opportunities and secure future-proof specialists for the industry.
