Questions and answers

The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Personnel Development & Diagnostics provides participants with a broad range of knowledge relating to qualified personnel selection, personnel assessment and personnel development. The aim is to be able to use diagnostic methods that enable good selection procedures in organizations and increase the quality and objectivity of decisions in development, assessment and selection processes and, thanks to psychological aptitude diagnostics, make a significant contribution to economic success. After completing the course, participants will know the basics of psychological diagnostics, personnel diagnostics and personality psychology.

The course in Personnel Development & Diagnostics comprises a total of 18 course days. There is also self-study time and exam preparation.

Admission to the CAS Personnel Development & Diagnostics is open to university graduates, but also to professionals with adequate qualifications who work in HRM and have practical experience in personnel development, organizational development, personnel selection and personnel placement.

The Master's degree program in Career and Academic Counseling (MAS Career and Academic Counseling) at the ZHAW comprises 70 ETCS and has a modular structure. In addition to a study trip abroad and at least 12 weeks of practical experience, the continuing education, further training consists of four certificate courses (CAS) and a Master's module. The CAS Interdisciplinary Perspective on the World of Work, CAS Diagnostics & Counselling in the World of Work, CAS Counselling Fields in the Organizational Context and CAS Counselling Fields in the World of Work must currently be attended for the course.

The Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS UAS in Career Coaching is aimed at external and internal consultants, coaches, instructors, trainers, HR employees and personnel developers as well as occupational and organizational psychologists who wish to study career and job coaching in greater depth.
