R+F offers state-recognized degree courses in Film (part-time), Photography, Art, Fashion Design and Visual Design leading to a College of Higher Education (CHE) - Professional Bachelor. The range of courses also includes the two specialist classes in photography and graphics with Federal VET Diploma apprenticeships, the preliminary design course and the Foundation Year (preparatory course). The wide range of design courses for adults and the youth courses for 11 to 16-year-olds are open to all interested parties.

R+F is the largest independent art and design school in Switzerland. To this day, it has remained a laboratory for design and artistic creation that thrives on its large and dynamic network of lecturers. Here on Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch you will find design courses that qualify you for professional activities as well as courses that are designed exclusively for private individuals and help you to develop your personality. A design course that is more of a leisure activity could, for example, be a certificate course in design and communication, as well as a course in two-dimensional or three-dimensional design.

Federal training or continuing education, further training courses are comprehensive training courses that are federally regulated, i.e. governed, particularly with regard to the content, structure and objectives of the examination. The courses that prepare for the examinations are based on these requirements in order to give participants the best possible chance of passing the federal examinations. A design course, on the other hand, can be either a one-day seminar in which you receive an introduction to the subject or an ongoing workshop in which you work exclusively on a practical level. In the design sector, you will find both variants, the federal qualifications as well as the internal school certificates. You can recognize federally recognized continuing education courses by the designations FPE for Federal Professional Examination, AFPE for Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) and CHE for College of Higher Education (where individual courses are federally recognized). Bachelor's and Master's degree courses at Universities are also federally and internationally recognized.
