The Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS Contract & Trade Law is aimed at non-lawyers who wish to study commercial law and contract law in depth in order to be able to draft independent contracts, analyze legal problems and present proposed solutions.

The CAS Contract & Trade Law certificate course consists of three modules, each worth 5 ECTS credits. The CAS begins with an introduction to the law and then teaches the basics of contract law. This is followed by practical contract drafting, and in the "Commercial Law" module, students learn more about the forms of companies under Swiss company law. Restructuring and bankruptcy law are also part of the CAS, as is business succession.

The training program in commercial law is a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Contract & Trade Law, a continuing education course at university level, which is part of a Master's degree program and is completed in blended learning.

The certificate course in commercial law is a distance learning course run by a recognized distance learning university using the blended learning method. In this case, this method consists of 80 percent guided self-study with access to the online platform and other e-learning components and only 20 percent face-to-face teaching.
