  • Step 1: Enter your region / place of work (e.g. Zurich)
  • Step 2: Enter your industry (e.g. 51 Aviation)
  • Step 3: Under Occupational group, enter your occupation and transfer the corresponding occupational group. For aircraft mechanics this would be: 72 Metalworkers, mechanics and related professions
  • Step 4: Position in the company - select "Without management function"
  • Step 5: Weekly hours 42
  • Step 6: Training: Completed vocational training
  • Step 7: Enter your age (e.g. 30 years)
  • Step 8: Enter further optional information for the calculation of the leadership salary (if available and desired)

The example salary in our calculation for leadership is CHF 6,009. Now go back to the point "Position in the company" and select "Lower management", resulting in a new average salary of CHF 6,765 after the leadership course.

If you now enter "Higher vocational training" under "Training", which includes the Federal Diploma of Higher Education, the salary increases to CHF 7,583.
