Property maintenance: information, offers and providers at a glance

No prior knowledge or special training is required for the certificate course in property maintenance. However, participants are expected to have a strong connection to real estate and its building fabric.

During the continuing education, further training in property maintenance, the main topics covered are "Construction knowledge" and "Law (ZGB/OR)". These are supplemented by "Valuation", "Building law" and "Dealing with complaints". The optional certificate examination comprises a further four lessons, making a total of 56 lessons of instruction and 60 lessons of continuing education, further training including examination.

The property maintenance clerk course lasts approx. 10 weeks. During this time, lessons take place two evenings a week, for example. Find out about the different teaching models directly from the providers.

Participants in continuing education, further training as a property maintenance officer acquire basic skills in the maintenance of properties, their building fabric, the assessment and evaluation of properties and building fabric and the commissioning of suitable experts to rectify any existing problems. Course graduates are familiar with the most common building defects, their causes and strategies for rectifying them.

The course on the subject of property maintenance / real estate maintenance is designed for people who have little or no knowledge of property maintenance but would like to familiarize themselves with this subject area in greater depth.

It is aimed at property owners who want to optimize maintenance, future property buyers who want to find out about structural criteria or people who come into contact with the maintenance of properties in their profession.
