The example salary for "Logistics specialist" in our calculation is CHF 5,465 (with completed vocational training). If you now go back to the "Training" section and select "Higher vocational training", the new average salary is CHF 6,126. He would like to progress in his career and complete continuing education, further training as a logistics specialist. Jonas would like to deepen his knowledge of logistics and learn about modern supply chain management. By taking the Federal Professional Examination as a logistics specialist with a federal certificate, Jonas will improve his chances on the job market and secure higher wages in the long term.
As a logistics specialist, Jonas will receive CHF 988 more per month than before and will therefore have at least CHF 481,000 more at his disposal by the time he retires than if he had not done any continuing education, further training.
As this theoretical calculation does not take into account any further salary increases, promotions or interest on savings, the salary can still increase significantly.
