The course on ventilation hygiene is specially designed for janitors and provides them with in-depth knowledge on the hygienic operation and efficient maintenance of ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Depending on the school and degree, training in ventilation technology lasts three days (ventilation and air conditioning hygienist), nine months (ventilation/air conditioning service technician) and one year (ventilation/air conditioning service fitter).

Persons with other professional qualifications or even without an apprenticeship qualification can also be admitted to the course if they have sufficient practical experience as a ventilation fitter.
