Naturopaths with a recognized qualification are able to run a naturopathic practice. They use their knowledge of herbal medicine, nutritional science, bodywork and psychological conversation techniques to advise and support people and aid their recovery process. They can recognize health disorders, select and implement an appropriate therapy and check whether the desired effects occur. They recognize when other therapy methods are necessary and work together with other therapy directions and conventional medical institutions. Naturopaths participate in a group practice or run their own practice and build up a network with spas, drugstores, pharmacies and doctors' surgeries.
