Identity-oriented communication management, conceptual methodology and communication in management are just as much a topic as publicity and the function of the media, issues and reputation management, as well as evaluation and quality assurance. Internal communication, media relations, corporate design, sponsoring, online communication, social media, public affairs and lobbying are covered in detail, as are campaigning, crisis communication, change communication and CEO communication.

Communication managers shape and control communication within the company. Their know-how in strategic communication management enables communication managers to design communication in specific situations and align it with the image, identity and policy of the company.

With a duration of just under four months and 192 lessons, the CAS in Communication Management is worth 15 ECTS credits. However, you should bear in mind that there are also a considerable number of hours of self-study, which take up roughly the same amount of time as the lessons.

The CAS in Communication Management is aimed at university graduates with several years of extensive experience in communication, as well as media professionals who are planning a move into organizational communication.

A certificate course at a University of Applied Sciences does not conclude with a federally recognized degree, but with a Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS. However, as the CAS is awarded ECTS credit points, the credits earned are recognized both nationally and internationally.
