Vocational qualifications for young art and sports talents
There are special offers for young art and sports talents after completing compulsory schooling. These enable them to continue pursuing their sporting or artistic activities intensively and at the same time acquire a recognized professional qualification:
- Offered areCourses in the commercial sector. Here they have the opportunity to obtain the VSH office/commercial diploma after just two years and the EFZ Kaufmann/Kauffrau Dienstleistung und Administration (B-/E-/M-Profil) after a further two years. Classroom teaching and the internship semester are compatible with the intensive training requirements. The training costs are around CHF 40,000-50,000 for the entire course.
- In addition, there are special offers to complete the basic vocational training with an EFZ qualification in four semesters.Vocational baccalaureate (BM2) Sportto complete. This qualification allows you to start a related Bachelor's degree course at a university of applied sciences (FH), e.g. a sports degree course at the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglingen EHSM, without having to take an examination. The school costs for this amount to around CHF 1,600 per quarter, i.e. CHF 12,800 for the entire course.
Prerequisites
Completion of compulsory schooling and intensive sporting or artistic activity at a high level are required for admission to training. Some providers also require aptitude tests and entrance interviews.
