Who are you and what do you do for a living?
My name is Adelina Ademaj. I originally trained as a polymechanic and worked as a toolmaker for a few years. I am currently training to become a CHE mechanical engineer and am in my fourth semester.
Why did you decide to enrol on the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE course (since 25.10.22 Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE)?
I opted for the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE course (since 25.10.22 Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE) because it offers me very good prospects for my future career. This appealed to me because I have a technical education and this course builds on that. This means I can continue to use my existing knowledge from my career as a polymechanic and supplement it with in-depth specialist knowledge.
Why did you choose this educational institute?
I chose the BZWU educational institute because the school has a very good infrastructure and the course days usually fall on the weekend. This means that continuing education, further training to become a CHE mechanical engineering technician is very compatible with my current job. Of course, there is less free time, but you have to accept that for good continuing education, further training.
How does the CHE mechanical engineering technician course support your professional activity?
I train apprentices in my day-to-day work. I can pass on the knowledge I acquired on the CHE Mechanical Engineering course to the polymechanic apprentices. They learn more with me than they do at vocational school.
What is the most important learning content for you?
For me, the most important subjects on the CHE Mechanical Engineering course are the practical ones, such as seminars on leadership skills and communication with superiors or subordinates. I already know that I will definitely be using the CAD and design theory subjects intensively in my future work. For me, these are the subjects from which I benefit the most.
Did you experience any difficult situations during your CHE mechanical engineering studies?
The biggest challenge for me when studying CHE Mechanical Engineering is good time planning and time management. It can be very stressful and this requires good time management in order to complete the continuing education, further training well.
Has your market value already increased as a result of your studies?
Thanks to CHE Mechanical Engineering, I have already been able to change jobs internally and other projects are already planned for the future. I'm looking forward to the time afterwards.
To whom would you recommend studying CHE Mechanical Engineering?
I recommend CHE Mechanical Engineering to all young, motivated people who are looking for a new challenge. Who are aware that they will have little free time over the next three and a half years. However, they accept this in order to get ahead in life. Those who are looking for new perspectives in management or professional competence.
What is the mood like among the students?
The atmosphere during the CHE in Mechanical Engineering is very good. Everyone is very determined and tries to get the best out of all subjects. We get on very well with each other.
What do you particularly like about the school?
What I like best about the school is the location. As I come from Uzwil, I can get to school on foot. That's very nice. In addition to the good infrastructure, this was important to me.
What are the personal benefits of studying CHE Mechanical Engineering?
For me personally, continuing education, further training to become a CHE mechanical engineering technician is very important. I know that I am expanding my specialist skills and can also apply them. This also enables me to pass on what I have learned. This is very fulfilling and makes me proud.
