As a VBV insurance broker, you have the knowledge and skills to provide private individuals and small businesses with competent and comprehensive advice and support on insurance matters. With this qualification, you can work in the field sales division of insurance companies or in consulting and sales for independent financial institutions such as brokers or fiduciaries.

The VBV "Insurance Intermediary" certification also meets the requirements of the European Union.   • Financial Planner with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education: If you hold the IAF-accredited diploma in financial consulting and have the required 2–5 years of professional experience, all you need to do to obtain the Federal Diploma of Higher Education is pass the Federal Professional Examination.
