Questions and answers

Für die Ausbildung zum ITIL Service Manager mit den Modulen Service Management 1 sowie Service Management 2 inklusive Zertifizierungsgebühren fallen Kosten in Höhe von etwa CHF 2`600.- an (stand 2018).

Die Ausbildung zum ITIL Service Manager umfasst in etwa 72 Lektionen Unterricht, verteilt auf ein halbes Jahr. Hinzu kommen einige Stunden Selbstlernzeit.

Der Lehrgang zur IT Infrastructure Library Zertifizierung ITIL Service Manager / zur ITIL Service Managerin respektive ITIL Foundation V3 besteht aus zwei Modulen, die aufeinander aufbauen und entsprechend nacheinander besucht werden. Teilnehmende lernen die Methoden des prozessorientierten Service Managements mit optimaler Kosten-Nutzen-Rechnung in Lehrvorträgen, Fallbeispielen, Gruppenarbeiten und Demonstrationen kennen. Jedes der beiden Module muss erfolgreich abgeschlossen und besucht werden, doch erst nach Modul 2 kann die ITIL Foundation V3 Zertifizierung absolviert werden.

Grundlagen des Service Managements, Service Strategien, Service Design, Service Operation, Service Transition, Change Management und kontinuierliche Serviceverbesserung sind Themenschwerpunkte der Weiterbildung zum ITIL Service Manager, ebenso wie die Vorbereitung auf die ITIL V3 Zertifizierung.

Für die Teilnahme am ITIL V3 Expert (ehemals ITIL Service Manager) Zertifikatslehrgang müssen die Studenten und Studentinnen im ICT und ICT-nahen Umfeld über mindestens zwei Jahren praktischer Erfahrung verfügen, etwa in der Kommunikation, der Informatik, Technischen Dienstleistungen, oder ähnlichen Bereichen.
