We start from the premise that creativity itself is not magic, but is inherent in all of us. It is just a matter of unearthing these hidden skills and abilities as treasures, finding the doors and access points to them and practising them. And it is also becoming increasingly obvious that participation is central in the age of self-organization, holacracy and new leadership models.
Facilitator training: Facilitating - Modules 1 - 3 (duration 4 days each; Bern, Vienna)
In our understanding, facilitating means a basic attitude and a mindset that promotes change in the company.
We offer our modules 1 - 3 in Bern and Vienna and work on self-organization/leadership, mental models, basic attitudes, ways of thinking and discover appropriate methods, including Lego Serious Play, Design Thinking, team development and large group facilitation.
Participation made easy: Liberating Structures to open up workshops and events in a new way (duration 3 days)
Innovation arises from chance, from the diversity of different ideas and from intensive processes of unusual collaboration. With the help of Liberating Structures (33 methods and applications), we can support these processes in a simple way. They help us to overcome demotivation, dysfunctionality in groups and waste of ideas.
The focus is on the uncomplicated participation of everyone and innovation in all its facets. With the help of Liberating Structures, we can quickly access new forms of collaboration and exchange. As the methods are very simple, we learn a kind of facilitation out of the trouser pocket. Anyone can trigger a coherent intervention at any time, without a lot of fuss and planning.
Lego Serious Play Facilitation (duration 3 days, Bern, Zurich)
During these three days, we work intensively and repeatedly with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods and materials, start with very small models, construct joint models, tell their story, find connections and at the same time get to know other facilitator methods. Finally, you go home with lots of new ideas and impressions that you can put into practice the following week. There are basically three areas in which you will gain in-depth expertise.
Visualize
We have reorganized and restructured our training courses based on a very in-depth examination of the needs and expectations of our customers. In the Visual Basics, Visual Advanced, Visual Storytelling, Visual Innovation and Visual digital training courses, we introduce you to the basics of visualization, show you tips and tricks for graphic recording, establish a link to sketchnoting, accompany you on your journey into the land of innovation and also show you how you can tell stories with the help of clear, precise visualizations.
Visual Facilitating (Basics and Advanced or as a two-day training course in Basel, Berlin (coming soon), Bern, Vienna and Zurich)
"Oh no, I can't draw!" Many of the participants in our training courses are marked by this one of the four unforgivable things we learn at elementary school. But that's not what Visual Facilitation is about! It's about everyone being able to quickly immerse themselves in a world of images, find simple visuals and representations and very quickly combine different icons to easily visualize complex relationships.
You will also be given the tools to use images and visualizations to accompany team processes and coaching sessions. You will also be able to use images to guide team processes into flow in a completely different way than before. What will you take away? The tools to bring all kinds of processes to life in meetings and workshops with pen and paint.
Visual Storytelling (duration: 2 days, in Bern, Zurich)
First there was the language and the story, then came the visualization, for example in the caves of Lascaux. People have always been visual and have always told stories. And this is because a complex matter simply comes across better in the form of a story. And that's why we offer this combination: Visual Storytelling!
During the training, you will be introduced to the finer points of storyboarding. You will then gain a deeper insight into the essence of a story and realize how easy it is to tell an exciting story with the help of a visualization or other artefact. And finally, after the training, you will know the breadth and depth of visual storytelling.
Visual Innovation (duration: 2 days, in Bern, Zurich)
You know the basics of visualization very well and apply them on an ongoing basis in everyday life and in very different contexts. You are ready for the connections between visualization and the very different methods we use in our innovation projects, for example when Design Thinking comes into play.
That's why, during this one-day training course, we focus entirely on the diverse creative methods for innovation, visual and design thinking and show you different ways in which you can use these methods in a variety of ways, whether in small projects or in larger change processes.
