Marketing is a broad term used to describe the market development of a company. Marketing tasks range from researching and analyzing markets or products to product design, price planning, advertising measures, sales planning, distribution, sales promotion, customer service and much more. However, the Marketing and Sales Clerk is also an ideal way to enter the field of sales and marketing after basic training (apprenticeship). Depending on the school and the chosen exam (internal exam or external edupool exam), the costs for the Marketing Sales Specialist training range between CHF 2,000 and CHF 4,000. Ask the providers about the actual costs including teaching materials, examinations and other costs incurred.

For example, there are courses to become a qualified marketing and sales assistant with an internal school certificate as well as an edupool.ch marketing and sales administrator or edupool.ch marketing and sales administrator.

According to salary-specific comparison portals, the annual salary for marketing and sales clerks is between CHF 57,500 and CHF 76,000. This means that the monthly salary for marketing and sales clerks is between CHF 4,400 and CHF 5,900, so you can expect an average monthly salary of just over CHF 5,000 - at least if you can confirm your skills with a degree in marketing and sales.

Depending on the educational institution, continuing education, further training in marketing and sales takes between 1 semester and 1 year (2 semesters). The continuing education, further training is offered on a part-time basis. Compared to the previous year, face-to-face teaching for the Marketing Sales Specialist course has lost 5 percent of its popularity. In contrast, the desire for hybrid teaching has risen by 3 percent. 1 percent more would like online lessons and 1 percent more currently have no preference.

Anyone who completes the Edupool Marketing and Sales Specialist course receives an edupool.ch certificate. Edupool is the association of commercial further education centers of public commercial schools (KV). If you choose the VSH option, you are opting for the association of commercial further education centers of private commercial schools. Neither the Marketing and Sales Clerk Edupool nor VSH leads to a federally recognized and protected qualification. They are courses created by the commercial schools on their own initiative to close a gap in the education system. Both diplomas are recognized throughout Switzerland and are valued by employers. They are the ideal preparation for transferring to the examination preparation for marketing or sales specialists with a federal certificate. Thanks to the edupool.ch diploma or VSH qualification, training at this level is generally shortened by one semester - in contrast to school diplomas or certificates.
