However, studying astrology at a distance is not always easy, as the wealth of literature and specialist texts is immense, making it difficult for laypeople to extract serious and helpful texts from this mass. In order to be able to work as a professional consultant, years of study are required to show you all the subtleties and approaches needed for astrology. Astrology training can therefore be self-study, but is much more precise, informative, entertaining, sociable, well-founded and competent in a reputable school of astrology. If you are interested in astrology training or continuing education, further training, you should always remember that this investment in your own future should be well thought out. Do not decide at random or solely on the basis of the most appealing name of an education provider, the most attractive internet design or the most comprehensive school portrait. Take a systematic approach to your search for an astrology school and always take a few important points into account in your decision-making process. Firstly, the location of the school is certainly important. Is it easy for you to reach and is the distance acceptable? Bear in mind that, especially for longer courses, you will have to travel this distance regularly and it should not become a burden for you. You should also consider the following criteria when looking for an astrology school:

• Experience and references of the school
• Experience and references of the teaching staff
• Content and structure of the course
• Number of participants
• Infrastructure and environment

Most astrologers work on a freelance basis after completing astrology courses. Full-time employment as an astrologer is rather rare and requires a great deal of experience and a certain level of recognition in addition to sound specialist knowledge. More often, the profession is practiced on a part-time basis.

If you are interested in astrology, there are a number of exciting training courses on offer that will introduce you to this subject in varying degrees of intensity or provide you with further training in astrology. For example, there are short seminars for all those who want to gain an initial insight that last no longer than two days. Further training courses also usually last a few days. Comprehensive astrology training, however, is a completely different story. These courses usually last between one and three years and provide you with everything you need to become a qualified consultant. Please always compare the individual offers very carefully and pay attention to which days, how long and how often the individual courses take place during the week. This is the only way to find an astrology course that can be integrated into your existing life and will not overwhelm or bore you.

Astrologers advise people in various life situations - that is astrological advice. They calculate and interpret the star constellations for specific points in time and derive interpretations for specific questions in various areas of life such as career, partnership, education or spirituality. Astrological consultations are usually carried out as individual consultations, but some astrologers also specialize in a particular field, e.g. management consulting or business astrology.
