After the Bachelor of Science FH in Marketing, you can add a Master's degree in Business Administration at a university of applied sciences (e.g. major in marketing, online business or international management). Postgraduate degree programs or postgraduate courses at universities of applied sciences would also be a useful addition to the BSC Bachelor in Marketing. These include, for example, MAS in Communication Management, Digital Marketing or Strategy and Marketing Management or EMBA with a specialization in strategic marketing or international management.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing: How is the FH degree program in Marketing structured?
The FH degree course in Marketing lasts 8 semesters and starts 6 times a year. This can be completed in different time variants and teaching variants: Saturday variant, two-evening variant or interactive teaching. As the Bachelor's degree in Marketing is part-time, you can continue to work (almost) full-time during your studies. The Bachelor's degree in Marketing has a modular structure and the examination dates are sensibly distributed over the two years of basic studies and two years of advanced studies. There are seven specializations to choose from and digital content and channels are generally the focus of the Marketing degree course. The Bachelor's degree in Marketing is internationally recognized through the federal accreditation of the University of Applied Sciences.
What is the Marketing Bachelor salary after successfully completing a Marketing degree?
How much a marketing manager earns after successfully completing a bachelor's degree in marketing depends on numerous factors. As a rule, you can expect a gross starting salary of around 75,000 - 78,000 francs per year as a junior marketing manager after completing a marketing degree. Over the years, the gross annual salary can increase to around CHF 155,000 - however, this also depends heavily on any further training, specializations and the degree of management and project responsibility.
Is it possible to study marketing at a university of applied sciences and graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing?
For many years, there were only marketing courses in the area of further vocational training (e.g. as a marketing specialist with a federal certificate or as a marketing manager with a federal diploma) or at the higher technical college level or further education courses at university of applied sciences level.
In March 2022, the "Marketing Bachelor" was launched as the first degree course at university of applied sciences level. This is the first time in Switzerland that it has been possible to study for a Bachelor's degree at a university of applied sciences with a focus on marketing.
What do I need if I want to study marketing?
In order to study for a Bachelor's degree in Marketing at a university of applied sciences, it is usually a prerequisite that you have completed either the vocational baccalaureate (BMS) or the baccalaureate from a grammar school and have at least one year of professional experience in the commercial sector. Persons with a different, equivalent educational background can apply for admission to the marketing degree program on the basis of a Sur-Dossier. This means that individual clarification with the relevant university of applied sciences is necessary. Exceptional admissions are also approved for marketing studies.
