Who are you and what is your professional background?
My name is Nadja Kühni. I am a medical practice assistant and am currently attending the BZWU continuing education, further training program for accounting clerks.
Why did you choose accounting?
I started working in the practice in the administrative area. Accounting also became a major topic. I now want to create a basis for myself with the accounting clerk training so that I can have my knowledge of accounting confirmed with a "paper".

However, financial management is also very exciting. There I learned how to get more information out of the pure figures.
When do you particularly enjoy your lessons?
I prefer the very practice-oriented lessons in the accounting clerk course. That's where I personally benefit the most. It also gives me the most "aha" moments. I can see how things work in other companies.

I recommend the Accounting Clerk course to anyone who is interested in working in an accounting department. The course provides you with very good tools. However, it is important that you already have a background in accounting before starting the course.
What background do the people in your class have?
Our class is made up of people who already have a commercial background, but also lateral entrants from the transportation industry, fiduciary sector, etc. This also makes the accounting clerk apprenticeship very exciting and varied. Personally, the knowledge I gained from the Accounting Clerk course gives me a lot of confidence at work. I know exactly what I do in accounting and understand the background. I find this incredibly important. But I also enjoy doing something for myself and doing continuing education, further training for myself.

The accounting clerk course is a good foundation that will enable me to take further steps, such as obtaining a specialist certificate in finance and accounting. This will of course open up new career opportunities for me that I wouldn't otherwise have.
