Tell us about your background.
My name is Kristjan Marku. I live in Staffelbach in Aargau. I trained as a polymechanic and then studied mechanical engineering CHE. Today I am a mechanical engineering technician CHE.
Why did you complete your studies at wbz Lenzburg?
The wbz was recommended to me by a work colleague who studied mechanical engineering CHE here himself. I then attended the information evening. I really liked it there - especially the fact that the lecturers come directly from the field and teach in a practical way. That's why I chose wbz as my school.
What motivated you to study Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE?
I decided to study to become a mechanical engineering technician CHE because I wanted to continue my education in a practical way. As a mechanical engineering technician CHE (since 25.10.22 mechanical engineering technician CHE), I can expand my previous knowledge as a polymechanic in an obvious and optimal way. My future career goals are to work in work preparation (AVOR), as a production planner or team leader. The Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE course fits in perfectly with these goals.
How does continuing education, further training in mechanical engineering CHE support you in your work?
Thanks to my continuing education, further training in mechanical engineering CHE, my expertise in my job as a polymechanic has increased greatly. As a result, I have a better understanding of all the connections between AVOR and the polymechanics. In addition to my practical knowledge, the continuing, further education in mechanical engineering CHE has given me a better understanding of operational relationships and how to interpret business figures. What did you like best about studying to become a mechanical engineer CHE?
What I liked best about the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE course was that we were taught in a very practical way. We were able to use our own companies as practical examples. This allowed us to solve very practical tasks and also take something back to our companies.

I found the coronavirus period difficult during my continuing education, further training in mechanical engineering CHE. After that, we had to solve the tasks from home. As a result, we had less support with learning and the amount of self-study increased. I found this a little more difficult. As a result, I had to spend more time studying. But it got better over time.

But I also grew personally thanks to the many new things I learned during continuing education, further training, the focus on solutions and the increased independence.

As a polymechanic, you certainly have a good salary, but as a CHE mechanical engineering technician, you certainly have an even better salary.
Which subjects from the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE course have helped you the most?
The subject of business management in the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE degree program has developed me the most. As a lot of things were new, it really broadened my horizons as a polymechanic. I was fascinated to learn how to run a company and everything that goes with it. It involves a lot of tasks and a great deal of responsibility.

I would recommend continuing education, further training in mechanical engineering CHE to anyone who has a great deal of assertiveness and wants to develop professionally and achieve something in the field of mechanical engineering. It is important to be strong in mathematics, open to new ideas and future-oriented.

The atmosphere in the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE program was very good. I had a very good class. We had a good time together. The lecturers were very open and competent towards us. They were very helpful and always there for us.
Is there a key moment for you from your mechanical engineering CHE continuing, further training?
A key moment for me from the mechanical engineering CHE continuing education, further training is the camp in Bramboden. In this seminar at the beginning of the continuing education, further training and overnight stay, we learned more about employee management. The topic was very exciting and instructive for me. We had a great time there together.
What do you like best about wbz Lenzburg?
What I like about wbz Lenzburg is the good transport links to the A1 highway. This makes for a quick journey. The Timeout restaurant offers good food at a reasonable price.
Is there anything else important to say about the Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE degree program?
When studying to become a Mechanical Engineering Technician HF, you can take the Federal Professional Examination for Production Specialists with Federal Diploma of Higher Education after one year and complete the HF diploma after a further two years.
