In the field of supervision, counseling and coaching, there is a whole range of extremely interesting training opportunities. On the one hand, there are short seminars that are suitable, for example, for managers who want to acquire basic counseling skills for their professional activities in order to be able to support their employees as supervisors in the future. On the other hand, there are comprehensive training courses aimed at becoming competent specialists who would like to carry out this activity full-time or part-time in the future. Such professional training courses can be, for example, the Dipl. Coach / Supervisor, which, depending on the type of training and school, are sometimes even recognized by the BSO, the professional association for coaching, supervision and organizational consulting. In addition to these two variants, there are also CAS and MAS postgraduate courses offered by universities of applied sciences on a wide variety of topics related to supervision. In addition to the university diploma, certificate and master's degree courses in this form also award BSO recognition. For supervisors who have already completed their training, there is also a whole range of further training courses on a wide variety of focal points within their specialist area. Such further training courses either deepen the techniques, tools and concepts, provide participants with practical training or promote their personal development. If you want to continue your education in the field of organizational consulting, supervision and coaching, you have the opportunity to do so in very different ways and thus obtain different qualifications. On the one hand, there are training and continuing education, further training courses that award you internal certificates, last a few days or a few years. For training to be recognized by the BSO, the professional association for coaching, supervision and organizational consulting, certain guidelines, proof of competence and a precisely defined scope of training must be met. Many schools offer training courses that are tailored precisely to this qualification.
There is also the option of studying at a College of Higher Education and a postgraduate course. These are Coaching (CHE), NDS-CHE in Business Coaching (CHE) and NDS-CHE in Human Resources and Coaching (CHE). There are also postgraduate degrees from Universities that award the Certificate of Advanced Studies or the Master of Advanced Studies, such as the MAS Supervision and Coaching in Organizations (UAS) or the CAS Coaching Advanced (UAS).
