My name is Till Grella. I come from Wil and am 26 years old. I originally trained as a chef. I later completed continuing education, further training as a technical salesman. Today I work in sales at the Swiss Life insurance group.
I attended the Technical Business Management course and graduated with the Federal Diploma of Higher Education. I looked into the school from a geographical point of view. I then attended an information evening, after which I was convinced that BZWU was the right school for me.

I decided to do the continuing education, further training in technical business management because it is industry-independent. This means that I don't have to commit myself to a specific industry, but instead have a wide range of industries and career opportunities open to me afterwards.

I chose this school because it is close to my place of work and my home. This means I don't lose too much time traveling. I was also impressed by the lecturers at the technical business management assistant information evening, the information they provided in the presentations and the personal motivations they brought with them for this job.

On the one hand, it is certainly the theoretical part of the technical business management assistant apprenticeship that provides you with a lot of new knowledge. But you also develop personally during the apprenticeship. A lot happens during these two and a half years, both at work and in your private life. In my opinion, it's the overall package that helps you progress.

The Technical Business Management course certainly helped me in my transition from the kitchen to the office. Both professionally and personally. The training is broadly based and I think there will rarely be a job that is perfectly tailored to it. Everyone can pick out the areas that will help them progress in their job. I was undoubtedly able to benefit from this. The motivation for continuing education, further training and the perseverance in learning have certainly also contributed to my further development.

What I particularly liked about the Technical Business Management Assistant course was the variety of topics covered. Logically, this meant that not all topics could be covered in depth. However, the topics that were relevant to me were covered in depth. The lecturers responded to questions and aspects. For me, the overall package at this school was just right.

My challenges in continuing education, further training as a technical business administrator have to do with me as a person. My biggest challenge was a new job that required more time and attending school at the same time. Fortunately, there are also situations in life where the school aspect is a little easier. And then sometimes a little harder. It's challenging to keep going with continuing education, further training in technical business management - even in the face of adversity or when you don't really need school for your new job.

The Technical Business Management Assistant with Federal Diploma of Higher Education is of course well known. Also on the employer side. And it is very popular with many people. Because the qualification also stands for real commitment, learning ability and perseverance.
My satisfaction has certainly increased with the continuing education, further training as a technical business administrator, as I was no longer completely satisfied in my job as a chef. I can now use the new skills I have acquired on a daily basis. As I now have a sound knowledge of many topics, this also makes me more satisfied. I can also contribute better to many discussions with friends and acquaintances.

The economic aspect of the technical business management training, such as economics or business studies, was particularly useful to me. Employee management and social skills are things you can use in life. I was also very interested in law, even if I don't need it so much in my job - but in life instead.
What I liked best about the lessons was when the lecturers involved us as participants and we were able to work on a topic together.

I can recommend the Technical Business Management Assistant course to anyone who has completed a technical or trade apprenticeship and wants to develop further. It gives you a broad basis and opens up completely new opportunities for the future.
