The majority of UAS graduates start their careers with a Bachelor's degree, while UH graduates start with a Master's degree or a doctorate. Starting a career after a Bachelor's degree is mainly possible in large companies that offer trainee programmes and specialized internal continuing education, further training, e.g. in the financial sector or in management consulting.

A distance learning Master's degree in Economics adapts to your life - not the other way around. With a distance learning Master's in Economics, you learn where and when you want, so you are flexible in terms of time and location. The admission requirements for the Master of Arts in Economics at a university are usually a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at that university. However, there are also admissions sur dossier, for example under the following conditions:

Bachelor's graduates must have at least:

  • 60 ECTS credits in "Business Communication" (specialization in economics or business informatics, according to the choice in Module II) or recognized as equivalent

or

  • Students who choose Business Administration in Module II must
  • 60 ECTS credits in "Business Communication" with the Business Administration option and
  • have an additional 30 ECTS points in Business Administration (please enquire at the Dean's Office).

However, be sure to ask the university about the applicable admission requirements.

A Master's in Economics (distance learning) deepens and broadens your understanding of business and economic topics and qualifies you for responsible tasks in the private sector or for senior positions in the public sector. From controlling, marketing and risk management in companies to topics such as taxes, stability policy, international finance or environmental economics - the field of economics is extremely diverse and equally relevant for small and medium-sized companies, large corporations and entire economic areas.

The Master's in Economics is usually completed as a full-time course. In some cases, the Master's in Economics is offered as a part-time course. Part-time study is ideal for balancing studies and career. A workload of up to 80% is possible.
