What do I learn in the preparatory courses for the professional examination? What can I do as a communication specialist with a federal certificate?
In the preparatory courses, you will be specifically prepared for the professional examination. Here you will be taught the basics and necessary theoretical knowledge on fundamentals, marketing, communication, realization/production and media.
The five thematic focuses include the following subjects, which you will have to demonstrate both in writing and orally in the professional examination:
- Economics (VWL), business administration (BWL), advertising industry and advertising law
- Marketing basics, market research, distribution and sales
- Creation, communication strategy, concept, instruments
- Offline and online realization and production, deadlines, processes and costs
- Media research, media strategy and planning, cost accounting and control
After successfully completing the preparatory course and the professional examination to become a communications specialist with a federal certificate, you will be able to
- to (co-)develop communication strategies and concepts
- plan, organize, coordinate, implement, monitor and optimize marketing and communication steps using suitable communication tools.
- plan, organize and implement media assignments
- Monitor deadlines, schedule and budget
- to (co-)serve customers or clients
