What are the admission requirements for the photonics degree program?
In order to be admitted to the Photonics Bachelor's degree program at a University of Applied Sciences, you must have a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, a high school diploma or a technical baccalaureate or a comparable qualification.
They must also have relevant professional experience: either through an apprenticeship or one year of work experience in the technical field.

Is it possible to continue working while studying photonics?
It is certainly possible to work during the photonics degree course, but mainly if you are studying part-time. It is recommended that you do not work more than 60 percent of the time during your Bachelor's degree. If you are studying full-time, you will have classes 3.5 days a week; if you are studying part-time, you will have classes two days a week.
How high is the proportion of practical work during the photonics course?
For both full-time and part-time studies, a practical component of around 20 percent is guaranteed, consisting of practical work and laboratory work. In addition, the photonics degree program may include a higher proportion of practical work during an integrated internship.
